Dr. Kassem grew up in Mahomet, IL and graduated from Mahomet-Seymour High School in 1991. After high school, he attended Western Illinois University, receiving his degree in Biology. While attending WIU, he was a member of Delta Upsilon Fraternity and also the school’s mascot. Dr. Kassem went on to dental school at The University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. While at UIC, he served as their student senator and student delegate to the Illinois State Dental Society. He was also elected president of Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.

In 2002, Dr. Kassem opened Mahomet Family Dentistry in Mahomet, IL. He is looking forward to providing healthy and beautiful smiles at Signature Dental Experience. His motto is: “Always remember, there is a person connected to this tooth.” He enjoys getting to know his patients, their families and helping his patients achieve excellent oral healthcare. 

Dr. Kassem and his wife Jen have two children. Their daughter Emma is a sophomore at the University of Illinois and is a member of the Marching Illini. Their son Andrew is a sophomore at Mahomet-Seymour High School and is on the basketball team
